FAQ

Questions

Are these integrations certified by the standards bodies?

They are built on the published SCORM, LTI 1.3, xAPI, OIDC, SAML and SCIM specifications and tested against them, but Classbase does not hold a formal conformance certification. Tell us in a demo which systems you use.

Can the AI set up an integration?

No. Registering a system, changing sign-in and handling secrets are web-only settings for owners and admins. The copilot can import and export SCORM packages and list LTI tools, nothing more.

Do SCORM packages support sequencing?

Not yet. A package with several parts plays them in the manifest’s order, and the card completes when every counted part is done.

Will Zoom or Google email our learners?

No. The meeting providers never email learners. Invitations, calendar files and reminders come from Classbase, and learners join the call through Classbase.

What is not supported yet?

Encrypted SAML assertions, single logout and more than one identity provider per organization. When Classbase opens an outside LTI tool, the tool’s own grade does not come back yet; the card completes once it is opened.

Which identity providers work?

Any that speaks OIDC or SAML 2.0, for example Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, one per organization. You prove you own your email domains with a DNS record, and SCIM 2.0 keeps people and groups in sync.
