Remove Zoom from Classbase

Disconnect Zoom from one Classbase organization or remove authorization entirely. Learn which meetings and records remain and how deletion works.

Disconnect inside Classbase

For your own account, open personal Settings → Connections, select the Zoom account and turn off its use in the relevant organization. Confirm the disconnection. Choose Remove from all my organizations to remove your connections everywhere you used that account. For a shared team connection, an organization owner or admin opens Settings → Integrations → Zoom and chooses Disconnect.

If another active connection or owner uses the same Zoom user, authorization remains for those connections. Classbase deletes stored credentials and requests Zoom revocation when the last owner and active installation are removed.

Remove authorization in Zoom

1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace. 2. Open Manage → Added Apps and select Classbase. 3. Choose Remove and follow Zoom’s prompts.

This withdraws access to that Zoom user. Classbase updates the connection when it processes Zoom’s removal notification or detects lost authorization. You can also disconnect inside Classbase to remove the local connection immediately.

Meetings and retained records

Existing Zoom meetings are not automatically deleted. Classbase flags upcoming sessions using the disconnected account so an administrator can choose another host. To cancel a Zoom meeting after authorization has been removed, manage it directly in Zoom.

On final revocation or processed deauthorization, stored credentials are deleted. Account names/emails and associated provider identity, registration and personal-link data are scheduled for deletion seven days later through the daily deletion job. Session registration references are otherwise scheduled for deletion 30 days after session end.

Classbase keeps its session and attendance records, and connection rows with Zoom user/account identifiers. Status and error records follow their own retention period. Removing Zoom does not delete all information or your Classbase account. See the privacy policy and contact [email protected] about retained information.
