Availability

The Zoom integration is being prepared for release. General availability is subject to Zoom approval. These instructions describe the connection and teaching workflow for authorized testing and the planned release.

From scheduling to attendance

Create a Zoom meeting when you schedule a Classbase live session. Update its title or time, cancel it, and let hosts and learners open their meeting actions from the session. Where the host’s Zoom license supports it, Classbase provides individual learner join links and retrieves attendance after the meeting.

Personal or shared accounts

Instructors can connect their own Zoom user, subject to their organization’s permissions. For a shared team connection, an owner or admin connects a team Zoom user and becomes the designated operator. Only that operator receives its host start link from Classbase. Eligible licensed instructors in the same Zoom account can be alternative hosts; otherwise, the operator can assign co-host rights inside the meeting.

This release does not include organization-wide Zoom administrator installation. It does not add Zoom host licenses. Zoom’s license limits, account settings and meeting restrictions still apply.

Your information

The integration uses account details, meeting settings, registration, attendance and completed cloud MP4 recordings for teaching sessions. Imported recordings use private storage and are available to enrolled learners and authorized session staff. Transcripts and audio-only files are not imported. Read the privacy policy and removal guide for access, retention and deletion details.
